The MNHPC Conference, hosted annually in Minnesota’s Twin Cities, is the largest conference focused on hospice and palliative care in the region. We anticipate over 1,000 attendees at this year’s event, which will feature speakers in 55+ educational sessions as well as nationally recognized leaders in hospice and palliative care giving the keynote addresses. The conference provides an opportunity for continuing education as well as a chance to connect and engage with colleagues from around the region who are part of the hospice and palliative care community.
This annual event begins with a Pre-Conference Workshop on Sunday, April 8, from 1-5 p.m. featuring Syl Jones, an expert on narrative medicine. He helps doctors and providers use narrative medicine – combining the arts & sciences with the idea that better understanding leads to better care. The conference continues on Monday, April 9, at 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. (followed by an exhibitor reception). The final day of the conference is Tuesday, April 10, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Both Monday and Tuesday include keynote addresses, breakout sessions and access to the exhibitor floor as well as breakfast and lunch.
