Amy Funk, PhD, RN-BC

Dr. Funk has earned her B.S. in Psychology, B.S. in Nursing, M.A. in Gerontology, and Ph.D. in Nursing.
She has expertise in mental health, community health, gerontological, and palliative care nursing. She served as the Advance Care Planning Coordinator for OSF Health Systems. She received the Dr. Aldag Award for Outstanding Commitment to Education, Research, and Social Services as well as Saint Francis College of Nursing's “Excellence in Nursing” Award.

An expert on sibling grief, she has presented at national and international conferences, published in a peer-reviewed journal, and co-authored a play on sibling loss.
