Shuji Moriichi, MA, MDiv, Board Certified Chaplain (APC)

Shuji brings his 15 plus years of clinical experience as a chaplain in various healthcare settings. He is active in educational leadership on hospice care in general, professional ethics, and cultural competency and humility within and without the current workplace. In recent years he has explored intersections of quality individual experiences at the end of life, issues of healthcare disparities and social justice, industry/workplace diversity, and reexamination of the traditional approaches to care delivery and various norms of clinical practices. Shuji is an immigrant from Japan who proudly calls himself a “Midwest boy.” An avid boxing, football and baseball fan, Shuji is also a judo practitioner and a lover of jazz music. Shuji lives with his wife and their son in Minneapolis.
