Deb Lane is an RN, certified in hospice and palliative care, and trained as a faith community nurse, who has worked in the field of hospice and palliative care for over 24 years. During this time her roles have included RN case manager, Unit Shift Coordinator at a residential hospice, bedside hospice nurse, community liaison/outreach and currently as a Performance Improvement Coordinator. A portion of Deb’s responsibilities now is staff development/education and orientation of new staff. She helps facilitate the spiritual care training for Our Lady of Peace staff, hoping to extend this training to other hospice programs and referral sources. Holistic care is a passion of hers and values furthering interdisciplinary staff development.
