Lisa Abicht-Swensen, M.H.A., Director of Allina Hospice and Palliative Care, earned a Master’s Degree in Hospital and Health Care Administration from the University of Minnesota and Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Long-Term Care and Business Administration from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. Lisa’s 30+ years of experience in health care spans the long term care and hospice/home health professions. A comprehensive knowledge of home health/hospice operations, combined with a passion for service excellence make her a sought after expert in post-acute care. An accomplished speaker and writer, Lisa has been published in numerous journals including the Journal of Hospice and Palliative Care.
