Nicole Barnes

Nicole joined the Growing Through Grief team in the Summer of 2017 as the Program Manager. She has many years of work experience in social work and healthcare leadership.  Her role of the team is to provide support and leadership to the counseling staff; formalize business relationships with the school districts where Growing Through Grief is present and generate student and program outcome data. She also partners with the Park Nicollet Foundation to build program sustainability. As a licensed independent social worker for over 20 years Nicole has provided care to many clients and families struggling with biopsychosocial needs. In 2013 she received her masters of art degree in health care administration with a focus in non-profit work.
