Sharon Chung is currently a Palliative Care Clinical Social Worker on the inpatient team at Abbott Northwestern Hospital. Experience in the ER and in heart transplant cultivated Sharon’s passion for social justice in palliative and end of life care. Sharon’s interests include trauma-informed care, understanding how historical trauma impacts navigation of complex medical decisions and the intersections of disability justice, healing justice and the medical industrial complex with palliative care and with choices around living well during the end of life stage.
