In 2013 Tarron Estes founded Conscious Dying Institute where she and faculty deliver “Sacred Passage: End of Life Doula Certificates”. She has trained over 800 End-of-Life Doulas – from both medical and non-medical backgrounds. She is a founding member of NHPCO End of Life Doula Advisory Council, working to forward the work of Holistic End of Life Doula care and support for their members and clinicians. As Associate Clinical Faculty, Watson Caring Science Institute, since 2009, Tarron developed/delivered “Human Caring Program” to over 400 Kaiser Permanente hospital clinicians, created a palliative primary practice model for bedside clinicians and taught holistic nurse/patient care practices to enhance job satisfaction/quality of service, and delivered holistic therapies at the International Caritas Consortium.
