Stacie Sinclair, MPP, LBSW

In her role as Associate Director for Policy at the Center to Advance Palliative Care (CAPC), Stacie Sinclair is dedicated to educating federal and state policymakers and key stakeholders on the value of palliative care; raising and standardizing the quality of palliative care delivery; and augmenting palliative care’s voice through coalitions and strategic partnerships. Ms. Sinclair served as Co-Chair of the Writing Workgroup for the National Consensus Project (NCP) Clinical Practice Guidelines for Quality Palliative Care, 4th edition. She is currently managing the efforts of the Serious Illness Quality Alignment Hub, a project funded by the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, which convenes palliative care experts and U.S. health care quality leaders to create requirements and incentives for palliative care access and adherence to standards. She also serves as Vice Chairperson of the Nebraska Palliative Care and Quality of Life Advisory Council and as a member of the Governing Board for the South Dakota Palliative Care Network. Ms. Sinclair received both her MPP and her BA in Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
