  • Recognize the range of ways that palliative care providers address symptoms and goals of care to improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
  • Describe the crucial importance of including immersive experiences in palliative care throughout medical education to ensure that all patients receive the highest quality of care when they are seriously ill.
  •  Describe how rethinking the language we use in our discussions with sick patients can transform their experience of medical care.
