Conference Highlights

The Minnesota Network of Hospice & Palliative Care Annual Conference is the largest conference of its kind in the region, bringing together over 1000 hospice and palliative care professionals each April. The conference features nationally and internationally renowned keynote speakers as well as over 65 breakout sessions on a wide variety of educational topics and geared toward a broad range of proficiency levels.

In addition to being a continuing education experience, the MNHPC Annual Conference is an opportunity to be a part of a warm, supportive community of professionals and volunteers dedicated to caring for individuals and families at life's most difficult times. With plenty of time built in to the schedule to connect with old friends and establish new relationships, conference attendees leave feeling refreshed and recommitted. And the MNHPC Annual Conference includes many unique features to create an enlightening, engaging experience for all attendees. Some highlights of past conferences have been:

  • Music therapists playing instruments in breakout session rooms between sessions
  • Therapy dogs mingling with attendees
  • A wellness center with aromatherapy, chair massages, and infused waters
  • An exhibit floor filled with products and services tailored to hospice and palliative care
  • A labyrinth that participants can walk, providing a quiet place for reflection and meditation
