Lisa Iverson, RN, CDE

Lisa leads the MCHS Palliative Care Committee in a journey to establish palliative services in the rural community of Watford City, ND. Ms. Iverson has over 30 years nursing experience focused on chronic diseases working initiate a palliative care pilot program for a multi hospital system in rural Illinois. Most recently, Lisa serves as the diabetes educator and palliative care team leader, participating in Project ECHO for palliative care as a receiving site and Project ECHO for diabetes as a planning committee member. She attended the Palliative Care Leadership Center at Fairview Health Services, is a certified First Steps Facilitator. The National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health recognized Ms. Iverson as a 2018 Community Star. Lisa holds an ADN from Kankakee Community College.
